Fall 2017 Campaign
As an Account Associate at Purdue University’s student-run public relations firm, Boiler Communication, my team was given the task to completely rebrand Grace Lutheran Church in Lafayette, IN. Our objective was to increase knowledge of how to effectively communicate among Grace Lutheran’s staff by 25% by December 6, 2017. By the end of the campaign, we exceeded our objective by nearly 212% through various strategic communication methods.
By the end of the semester, we had completed a comprehensive communication guide which included brand strategies, a new color palette, logos, typography, voice, and demographic profiles. Additionally, we compiled recommendations for website layout, bulletin boards, social media sites, and photography.
After extensive research and development, our team put together a workshop to reveal Grace Lutheran Church’s new brand and teach the leaders of the church how to effectively communicate with their congregation and the community. We were able to ensure our audience’s receptiveness to our presentation through pre-testing and post-testing.
Contributing members of our team included Samantha Boram, Macey Warren, Gianna Carillo and I all working under the direction of our Account Executive, Meagan Finucane. My individual contributions to this project with our communication guide and workshop included are linked below.
